  1. Refunds & Exchanges
    While the item you order will be as close to the photo as possible, each piece is a unique piece of art. Please keep in mind that you are ordering a HAND MADE creation, not something machine made. If for any reason the item is damaged upon receipt, please DO NOT throw away any packing material or broken pieces and contact us ASAP. If you are not happy with your purchase notify us within 14 days and we will gladly make an exchange or refund - unless it is a special order. All shipping charges will be your responsibility..
  2. Safety
    All items, which might be used with food, are food safe, dishwasher and microwave safe. Always be very careful taking a ceramic vessel from the microwave as it may be very hot to the touch. Most food safe items are also oven proof. Please be careful to put the dish, pot or platter, along with your food, into a cold oven. Turn oven on and let everything come up to temperature together.
  3. Contact Us
    We enjoy communication with clients and customers. Email us with any questions or when you wish a special order at We believe all transactions should benefit both parties and are most pleased when you are thrilled with your purchase. If there is ever a difficulty, contact us immediately and we'll straighten it out together.
  4. Payment
    We accept credit cards and PayPal at time of sale. A 8.5% Sales tax for any item shipped within CA will be added. Important note: Please make sure the address confirmed on your PayPal account is the accurate address before buying. Due to PayPal policies, we can only ship to the address on your PayPal account. If you want the item to be shipped to a different address (work, giftee), please add and select this address in your PayPal account profile when paying.
  5. Special Orders
    When you wish a special order, please contact us directly to discuss and decide your wishes. Special orders, will require 50% down payment, non-refundable, upon acceptance of order, with remainder due before shipping. There are no cancellations of special orders. Pottery of any sort is a fairly slow process and no two pieces will ever be the same. Special orders will take at least 6 weeks plus shipping, so planning ahead is important. We will try to achieve the colors you're dreaming of, but can never promise the outcome -- the effects of heat on glaze components is always a mystery.
  6. Shipping and Handling
    Orders are usually shipped within one business day but no less than twice a week. If you need your item expedited quickly, please let us know. USPS Priority is our preference for lighter packages and UPS Ground or USPS parcel post for the heavier items. Please allow 2-14 days for the arrival of your purchase. We use Delivery Confirmation, and, in some cases, Signature Confirmation, so please make arrangements to receive your packages in person or make arrangements with USPS for pick up. Note: weights given in descriptions are without packaging.
